Dry, middle body. Middle taste is not empty, unlike other Cabernet Sauvignons. It’s the best Cabernet Sauvignon wine I’ve ever tasted.

Absolutely a delight to drink, heavy of vanilla and biscuit, almost butter tasting. Middle body of black currant. Would buy again!

Best cabernet sauvignon ever experienced. Strong aroma immediately hits. Typical cabernet sauvignon aroma but full of luxury. Proper tannin and acidity makes this one drinkable as it is. Soft but bold texture. Very enjoyable!

Wine 101: Congruent Vs. Complementary pairings

One of our favorite ways to enhance flavors in a meal is to curate wine pairings based on flavor profiles. Complementary and congruent wine pairings create balance and harmony on the palate.

▪️ Complementary: This type of pairing occurs when opposite flavors complement one another and create new flavors and balance within the dish. For example, the citrus notes from the Submission Chardonnay pair perfectly with the salinity of seared cod.

▪️ Congruent: A congruent pairing is one in which the wine and the dish share flavor profiles, meaning the wine enhances the similar flavors in the food. For example, the bold and robust characteristics of the Submission Pinot Noir emphasize the rich umami notes in steak.

Which kind of pairing are you trying first? And which Submission wine will you choose?
